Default Medical & PC duration

Dear members,

Do anybody have idea about the maximum number of days one can take to submit the medical report & police clearance once after it is being asked by CO.

Also for a paper based application, the above request from CO would be sent thro e-mail or courier or thro both.

It would be either 28 days or 70 days usually, dependent on what your case officer asks for. Either way, it will be communicated to you when your CO requests them.

It is the timeframe given to your specific case. Others have been given different amounts of time, so there is no standard.

Hi,

What should I do, in case if I'm unable to submit it during these period (say 28 days), due to late availability of leave from the office, which is located far away from my home town ?
Probably won't face problem with medical but will get struck with PC.

Why can't you take it in the town where you're working?

in case there is a delay in submitting the PCC, just write to you CO and explain him the problems and surely they will give you extension. it happened in my husband's case and they have provided additinal 2 months to submit his PCC. so be honest with him and they are very understanding.

No you don't. My address was more than 80 miles from where I got my medical done. So long as it's a DIAC approved panel doctor you can get it done anywhere in the world.

Yes, there is no problem with medical checkup but it is only PCC which is bothering me.

There is no issue 28 or 70 days is to reply not the deadline of getting PCC/medicals

Just upload the PCC - Application receipts or some kinda proof that stating you already applied for PCC-
