MEDICAL ISSUE 190 VISA
Hi all :@)
We are currently in the process of applying for a 190 visa but I'm just going through tests for epilepsy due to a recent car accident. My question is that some people say this will be an automatic refusal and others say its most definitely not??
Also if I'm not diagnosed before my visa app is lodged and I'm diagnosed afterwards do I need to inform them?
Any advise or first hand experience will be gratefully received.
Thanks :@)

You would need to inform them if you were diagnosed before validating the visa, but there may even be a question on the form about anything you are currently being treated/tested for, I can't remember exactly.
A good registered agent might be able to give you advice though - try George Lombard or Peter Bollard, both good for medical cases.

There doesn't seem to be ANY condition which is an automatic refusal for Australia, they are al looked at individually.

Yes makes sense a question asking if your undergoing any tests etc i didnt think of that. i guess to be completely honest throughout is key with the visa app. Glad its decided on an individual basis too as no ones situation is the same.
Thank again
