Do you get asked to undergo a medical if you apply for a 676 visa?

I applied online and onshore and got it by email within a few hours for the sum of $250 - i applied after 2 months on an ETA and was awarded a further 4 months (6 months in total)
No med, no complicated q's - after all you are just extending your hol to stay here and don't fancy going to NZ and coming through customs again!!!!
