Thanks... I am afraid that if the new SOL will be in place this July they will scrap CSL and introduce new priority processing...

Hi,

I am afraid too, but this will gona happened, we cant do anything in this regard, I wish DIAC could announce some news about new priority processing.

I am confused about the following written in my 176 SS approval
"State sponsorship approvals are valid for 6 months. If Eligibility Lists for Victorian Government State sponsorship are updated, resulting in an occupation being removed from the Lists, approved State sponsorships for any removed occupations will be honoured up to the validity date of the sponsorship"

So what would be the future of applicants like me, If I couldn't get the Visa grant within 6 months by DIAC, which chances are very less, I am asking that coz my profession is not in the current SOL and not sure it would be in the proposed State Migration Plans (SMP's).

Thx!

i guess wht tht SS letter means is tht u have 6 months to take tht SS grant letter and use it with ur application for DIAC...i think even if u dont get visa grant in 6 months, the SS grant letter will still be valid as u have used it and filed for a 176 visa...

and as per processing priority..SS applicants will get a high one fter june 2010..so will u...
try mailing the same query to some senior moderator..they will help out for sure.

On CSL - Visa 175 lodged in 10th March - CO Assigned in 12nd April - Only Form80 was requested - PCC and MEDs have not yet been requested.

Actually, I dont know what is ABPF? All fields are remain still as "Required" instead of "Met"
