Your status changed to ABPF on 13 May. Did you receive any mail for PCC and Medicals? Were you contacted by a CO?

ABPF does not mean a CO has been assigned, it is an intermediate stage which means your file is being processed by DIAC, or you can say it has been picked by by DIAC for processing. Once CO is assigned , the applicant will be notified if any further documentation is required like medicals/PCC in case not provided beforehand.

Hello Friends,
My status has changed to ABPF today. I am confused how will I know when a CO is assigned to me as I have front loaded PCC and Medicals. I have also already uploaded the form 80,1221,etc.
Anyways there is hope now.

In case any document is required by CO to process your file, you will be notified via mail in case you have agreed with DIAC that you would be using email as form of communication. In case all documents are frontloaded and CO things nothing else is required , you might not hear from CO until the Visa grant.

you should be absolute sure that if applied through agent and you have opted agent as point of communication , then he will be contacted.

i guess most of ur documents in the checklist will show as met.

sometimes it is true, but not always, as i know many freinds who have CO allocated but document status still is required.

yeah i know
tht would happen if the CO isnt updating the online status
but i guess in this case
there is no other way to find out
and no point bugging them with a PLE again.

Thanks Rajan and Qamar for your inputs. In mycase there is no other option to know that CO has been assigned. The best option is to wait and see if any communication is done from DIAC's side with my agent.
