Just to update.
I received following information from a reputed migration site alerts.
The latest federal budget announcements indicate continued strong government support for the skilled migration program with an increase of 5750 program places announced for 2010-2011. This will bring the number of skilled migration places to 113850 and the total program to 168700.
According to the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, 'Foreign skilled labour is an important driver of economic growth and contributes to increased productivity and labour force levels.

Don't frustrate buddy,
There are many deserving candidate from previous months are waiting for decision , I guess DIAC has big bunch of backlog.
It seems, your case is almost done , Enjoy life , there are lots of gud beaches close to TelAvive

Hi,
i have raised a PLE on 4th May'10, to enquire about my status of application, to remind that I am in CSL and whether should I frontload the Medicals & PCC or wait, today I got this reply;
"Thank you for your email in relation to your visa application under Australia's General Skilled Migration program. Your skill occupation has been noted on the CSL and as soon as your application is allocated to a case officer, your case officer will contact you for any additional/outstanding documents. We appreciate your patience in this matter. Yours sincerely, "
Well i have frontloaded PCC, Form 80 & 1221, but Medicals I can't, as in Pakistan frontloading Medical is not allowed

I lodged an application for a GSM visa before the minister announced the new list of occupations. Would I be affected by these proposed changes?
Any pending GSM visa applications lodged before the new list of occupations comes into effect would not be affected by this change.
