Re: March 2010 Visa Applicants
You should apply for PCC and provide evidence (some receipt etc) to your case officer showing that you have applied and it will take longer than 28 days to get your PCC. You can explain her that this the normal time of getting PCC in Malaysia and the timing is beyond your control. Normal they should accept that.
Best wishes

Re: March 2010 Visa Applicants
Hello s_jose and other March applicants,
Actually if you see from statistics, March first half 175 applicants have been assigned a CO till April first week depending upon the country High risk and low risk.
Also some 176 applicants from March second half have been assigned a CO as they are in higher priority over 175. But after April first week or April mid no CO was assigned. So i think that in May first half March second half applicants might me assigned a CO.Also DIAC were in the process of transition. Also moresover the dates of applicants assigned a CO and medicals finalised for the applicants is same. So it seems that March second half applicants may also be assigned a CO moresoever around the same period.
Also one more important thing is that DIAC gives visa grants till June end (29 June 2009 last year) so no need to worry about it.
We March applicants still have 2 months for our case to be finalised. We can see that they are trying to speed up the process for CSL applicants as they want to clear as many as possible CSL applicants till June end before the new rules take action.
This is just my personal statistical analysis and guess. Hope it turns true.
Thanks and regards
KK...

Same as my application too. My medical has finalised a week ago, but, until now nothing happens. In most of cases, medical changes to MET after a week.

Re: March 2010 Visa Applicants
Hi Experts,
On 28th April 2010, I have received an email from DIAC requesting for PCC, Form 80 and Form 1221. According to CO, she has sent me this request on 26th March 2010(about a month back), but unfortunately I didn't received any email from DIAC. She said she has extended the time by another 28 days from the date of email.
In Malaysia, it takes 2 months to get "Good Conduct Certificate" whereas I have only 28 days time given by CO. What should I do? Please advice!!
Thank you very much in advance

Didn't you put DIAC address in safe mail list, I believe if u did so, u shouldn't lose any email. This is a very alarming news, now I think I should raise a PLE as May has started and no CO yet.

No matter what, we can't blame them or fight with them, otherwise our application may be at risk.
I hope you will take necessary action. GOOD LUCK

Re: March 2010 Visa Applicants
Hello friends,
I have got the following email from DIAC today. Please suggest what I should do at this point. Your kind advice is much appreciated, whether I should travel before my wife's delivery or after delivery? She is expected to deliver in December 2010
"Dear Mr Rallabhandi,
Thank you for the documents which you have provided.
The only remaining documents required are your Malaysian and Indian Police
Clearance Certificates, all other requirements have been met. Once these
documents are provided I can finalise your visa application, unless you
wish to delay travelling to and entering Australia until after your baby is
born. It is your decision if you wish to travel while your wife is
pregnant or delay your visa application to include your baby.
Please confirm how you wish to proceed.
Kind Regards,
