Re: March 2009 Applicants

Hi,

I would love to join the March '09 boat as well. Lodged my 175 application today, 30.03. - just in time to be on the March boat of course.

ASCO Code 2231-79 (SAP)

Very excited and can't wait to find out where this journey is going to take me (us!) :) Hopefully Australia at some point!

Including Dependent mother

Hi
i have completed my online application form and about to submit it within couple of days. I am planning to include my widow mother in my application as a dependent family member since she lives with me and totally depending on me for basic needs. as per the instruction in the website (http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...ondary-app.htm) , we need to complete the form 47A and send it via post or courier.

does any one have same scenario? can i upload the scanned copy of the filled 47A form?
If it can be submitted only by post/courier, how can the CO will get my 47A +docs and the relavent online application? do i need to mention any application ID with the forms and documents to be sent via post.?

Also, i am in need to get some advices on how to show the "evidence that your relative has been dependent on you for at least the last 12 months" as requested in the website?

Please help me to lodge my application ASAP.

Re: March 2009 Applicants

DIAC has removed the sentence "The ASPC expects to have commenced processing of all CSL applications held by this office by the end of May 2009" from the processing information and now it is like this "2. Applications with a nominated occupation on the Critical Skills List
(CSL) - are being processed in date of lodgment order. Information about the CSL can be found on the department's website at:
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/gener...kills-list.pdf
"
what do you think :( let's hope no bad news will come

Re: March 2009 Applicants

hi all

i have read this in the web site FAQ :

Q7 If I have already lodged an independent skilled application, is there any way to change it to a State Sponsored visa?
If you have lodged a Skilled – Independent (subclass 175) visa or a Skilled – Independent (subclass 885) visa, your visa can be assessed as a State Sponsored visa.
To obtain a state or territory nomination, you should approach the state or territory you would like to live in and request they consider nominating you. Please note that state-sponsored migrants are expected to live for at least two (2) years in the state or territory which sponsors them.
See: Nomination by State/Territory government
If you are accepted by a State or Territory government, they will notify you and lodge the relevant nomination form directly with the department.
You will also need to complete the post-lodgement form to let the department know that you have accepted a nomination and wish to have your application assessed under either the Skilled – Sponsored (subclass 176) visa or a Skilled – Sponsored (subclass 886) visa.
See: General Skilled Migration Post-Lodgement Enquiry Form

so any one applied for 175 just need to accept the nomination to convert to 176 !!!

Re: March 2009 Applicants

We lodged last week- should have arrived in Paramatta on Friday, so 27th March. We've applied for a ENS onshore visa with a request to be considered 'exceptional' and have the 3yrs eligibilty requirement waived as dh's occupation is on MODL and CSL, he's employed in a specialist nursing area and the health board support his application. Fingers crossed :)

We're already onshore, husband and kids came in with NZ citizenship and I tagged along with the useless NZ family relationship visa, so we've taken a gamble already as we've moved here lock stock and barrel. I've heard wildly varying accounts of the processing times for ENS- from a few days to many, many months, so we'll see!

Congrats Aman,
You are the Ray of hope that CAse officer started for applications so quickly.
Good mate.

You detailed work reference in the sense:
Company Letter Head
Skills to me mentioned on the letter.you had worked on for ex:Java,Struts,EJB,Spring ,Hibernate......

Role you played in the project and which feild you are good in the projects.

These are the things they expect in detailed work reference.
If you work reference just says from this date to this date he worked with our company, than CO will not aggree for that.

Hope this info helps in understanding detailed Work expereince
