Smile the Long Long Road to Oz

We sent in our Application to Dimma mid April 05,we then got asked for more information around July/August time,we sent extra info only to be told in November its not enough...5 points short!!,CO advised us to go for $100K bond so now trying to raise the cash..although we havent been asked for it as yet...does anybody know of some time scales here? from CO saying"contact you in due course",to requesting the cash....

we had our meds/pcc late April early May so time is getting short..we havent even put the house up for sale yet..(i know)

So we dont even know if we are going to get the visa or not...hopefully the house will be on the market just after Xmas..just in case..

A short road it aint

Sorry to hear your news, Steve. At least its not a refusal and you can hopefully raise the cash. I do think though that it might be worth re-doing pccs and meds if you want to get the house sale done and dusted before you go because once the visa is granted, they will give you 12 months from meds or pccs, whichever was done EARLIER, which means you will only have until late April to get to Oz. Best of luck. Michelle
