Default Length of time for sponsored visa (Adelaide)

Hi
My family and i applied for a SIR visa (Adelaide) in late May. We are
wondering if anyone else out there has been/is going through the same
process. We are all very anxious to have some idea of when we will get
meds requested and then after that how long before we get the visa
through??
We assume its not as long as a year - as we only get a year from the
time we are sponsored to get out to Adelaide - but i am holding off
accepting a job offer as i wonder if we might hear by September

Any comments/previous experience with this??

caz x

I applied on-line March 28th, got a CO after about 20 days (I think
because we were before April 30 - which is what they are processing now
if you applied on-line). CO immediately sent request for Meds and PCC.
That took some time because we had to get PCC from two countries and one
of us "forgot" to do the HIV test. They received the last item (HIV
test) on Monday (June 19) and we were approved today (June 22) for the
Visa. And we get a year from April to enter the country.

Basically once you get your CO then it is pretty quick if you are a
normal case.
