June09 - 176 CSL VISA GRANTED today

1st entry date 4Nov10 (which 1 year after medicals approved by Sydney Health operations centre)
My timeline of key events:-
7Feb09 - submitted full CDR to engineers australia
14April09 - Engineers Australia approved CDR giving me 2126-11 Mech Eng: (which is on CSL and MODL)
23April09 - applied for state spons to QLD
21Jun09 - 175 applied online (LR) and all attachments sent by email
14Oct09 - medicals completed and sent by recorded post
16Oct09 - got offered QLD SS
21Oct09 - switched to 176 (obviously in current climate this is higher processing priority and we already wanted to go to Brisbane)
27Oct09 - Assumed CO on my account. Note online to say being processed further.
All documents started changing to received.
4Nov09 - medicals finalised and changed to met online
11Nov09 - sent PCC certifciate, thsi was approved 1 week later.
11Dec09 - checked online Visa approved and all documents met!!
1st entry date by 4Nov2010.(based on medicals approval date plus 1 yr)
Over the +5 months since applying I sent 3 PLAs requesting update on certain elements.
I was never contacted by my CO.
All documents submitted were done upfront, before being asked.
