Thinking about GSM-475 now. It’s the only fastest way I can acquire 5 additional marks. :o

Where's the confusion here people?

I was thinking what will happen if he pays the request amount? Will they process his application? If they do then he doesn't meet the new point system criteria, if they are going to reject the application then why are they asking for payment.

I think you can retake your IELTS to improve .5 and get 7.0 band
according to new rule you can't change your subclass for that you have to lodge a new application

i think u shud reppear for IELTS. prepare this time and try to score better marks. and appear for the general scheme this time if u appeared for academic last time. and try to score better. get some IELTS specific classes if you like.

tell this whole situation to DIAC that u assumed to be assessed under old scheme now that you don't have required IELTS to meet the pass mark. will they allow u a chance to submit a fresh IELTS.

or otherwise ask them if they could refund money.

and if they do then re apply after getting better marks in IELTS.

I would seriously consider trying to have the application null and void and having the fee reimbursed (if possible). Then restart with a fresh application and try to get those points from IELTS. Also, won't the SS points be invalid after three months?
