IT Jobs - Looking
Hello, I am a Canadian and an IT Professional married to an Australian.
Currently we live in Canada but are considering immigrating back to Aussie.
I would have enough points from what I can tell plus that whole spousal
thing of course.
The reluctance on my part is the current worldwide IT slump. What does the
job market look like for Microsoft/Citrix Network Admin types? Are we a dime
a dozen or is the job front looking up?
How are jobs looking in Brisbane as opposed to perhaps Sydney?
I would be happy to send a resume if anyone is looking for a guy like me
Thanks to any in advance
Darren

I'm not worrying about jobs or the job market at this time. I've settled on
not finding a sponsoring company, so, with being left with independent
migration, I won't worry about the job market until I know if and when we'd
be moving.
Things change so fast. Who knows what IT job will be in demand a year or
two from now on?
I'm glad that I've always stayed a generalist in many ways. Specialization
leads to vast swings in both salaries and employability, I've found.
