Job Offer for NZ

Hi All,
I am looking into emigrating from the UK to NZ and as far as I can see I pass the
points test *if* I get myself a job offer (seems to be pretty standard).
My question is, does the job offer have to relate to any work experience for which
you claim points? or the qualification for which you claim points? or can it be any
job (as long as it is permanent, full-time)?
Any advice gratefully received.
