I've sent my application. Will I get an acknowledgement?

I've submitted my PR application (under General Skilled Migration category)
to Adelaide Processing Centre via courier service. Will I get an
acknowledgement from DIMIA? If so, when will I get it?

Can anybody here advise? Thank you in advance.

Yes, you can expect to receive an acknowledgement from them.

After about 3 weeks they took money off my credit card. Another 3
weeks later I recieved a letter of reciept with a reference number. If
you live somewhere like the UK I think the post is a lot faster -
people have said a month for a reciept. Good luck and congrats on
sending it.
