I would like to publicly thank Jeremy (JAJ), George Lombard and Alan Collett for their help and pointers, at one point or another in the course of my skills assessment application.
Cheers guys!

Congrats Peter,
I can only repeat what others have said before me: if anyone on this forum deserves it, it's you. On behalf of many, thanks for all your advice, and again, congratulations.
Welcome to Oz!!!

Re: It's my turn.... :-)
Hi all,
Thanks for all the well wishes. I haven't felt this good for a while now Despite my having no immediate plans to ship out to Oz until a little later, it's still a good feeling to have the grant letter (it's a yellow envelope, btw - and no pre-grant) in my hands.
For anyone thinking of going to the AHC in Singapore to get their offshore visas evidenced, you'd be interested to know that the AHC here requires 5 working days to "process" the evidencing. My passport is with them now, and will be back in a calendar week's time.
Regards
Peter
