Immigration post cancer
Just wondering, does anybody know of anyone emmigrating to Oz after receiving treatment for cancer? I was treated in 2006 and am now clear (I'm only 32). As far as I can see I have passed the medicals (finalised). However, I have heard on the grapevine that the case officer can ask for extra conditions on the visa, ie private health insurance etc.
Any hints would be gratefully received!!!

It's possible but in many cases they look for a 3 year clear period. I strongly recommend professional assistance - Peter Bollard or George Lombard (both in Sydney) should be able to help.

Would they be able to help even if I've already submitted my visa application?
