ACT are looking for my skills but I want to live in Vic. If I moved after 6 months would I get my visa cancelled?

No-one has yet - but to make sure, when in ACT, apply for jobs in ACT and Victoria and if you get a job offer for Victoria let ACT know that you will be moving to Victoria. If it ever came to the crunch, at least you could prove that you tried to find work in ACT.

Hi Tony,
Thanks for the reply. Do you know if I have to site the IELTS test for ACT. I notice in their guidelines they don't show british passport excemption. Also on the application form they show IELTS check box with just yes next to it.
Cheers,
Dave
