Default if you lave your job but application is lodged

Hi, I am nearly there to lodging my 175 application, I understand I could be waiting 2-3 years for a decision. As I have done this work for 16 years I really don't know if I can see myself still in this particular job or occupation for another 3 years while I await the decision (unless I really have to with regards to the application) could anyone help and no where I stand .

Your question is not very clear, but if I understand what you're asking, you are welcome to quit your job, move, basically live your life as normal once your visa application is lodged. You only need to keep DIAC up to date if you move house or have any change in your circumstances.

Sorry yes I read through that and no it wasn't very clear or spelt very well . I'm applying as a Childcare co ordinator but really want a change of career. Once my application is lodged am I right to understand it is fine to go into an occupation in complete new field , do I need to notify the DIAC of this change

You can do whatever you want once your application is in. Just keep DIAC updated.
