IELTS Requirement for Wife --- Absolute Requirements ????
Hi,
I have applied for the Aussie PR from India. ASPC has asked for the
IELTS for my wife. I wanna know whether it is absolute necessary for
me to provide the IELTS score for my wife as it would take additional
time and in any case I am not claiming any points for my wife.
Is there any provision whereby I provide an undertaking to ASPC for
the English training in Australia when we reach there?
Its already been more than 20 months since I applied and every two
months they ask for additional information/documents, when I believe
that I have provided them all the documents. My case officer has also
been changed thrice since I applied.
Thanks a lot
Rajiv

If you really want to come to AUS you shouldn't mind bending over backwards
to meet the demands of DIMIA. Some people are not as lucky as you and can't
even apply.
Count yourself lucky your not applying for a USA visa. Takes a lot longer
than 20 months. I can understand your frustration but it something small
compared to a whole lifetime in oz.
