Unhappy Is IELTS Confusion

I m wajid from pakistan, i ve passed my ACS with MODL 2231-79(Network Security Specialist). now planning for IELTS next month.i need 6.0 in each module to touch threshold of 120.
i ve used some immigration consultant fro all dis. After passing my ACS, immigration consultant said that u should apply for DIAC as soon as possible. when i asked regarding "IELTS is mandatory for DIAC application", he said no,IELTS is not necessary for DIAC application u can submit it before medical means u 'll ve almost 4 months after submitting DIAC application. so i m confused regarding consultant statement coz forum said IELTS is mandatory for DIAC applcation. anyone clear this this confusion.

w.salam

As per ur query regarding MODL (Network Security), 1st of all clear ur certification, did u earned CCNA or CCNP or both.
i ve done my CCNA+CCSP certifications plus 4 years of experience. No doubt certifications give u a edge but 99% MODL (network security ) depends on your expereince / reference letter issued by your employer. So if u ve only CCNA certifications its more than enough, just concentrate on ur reference / experience letter from ur employer that u r going to provide to ACS. this should be in detail.
Proof of work experience must be provided to the ACS as a basis for your claims, and is arguably the most important part of the application. The job reference letters should be on the company letterhead, signed by someone with authority, with good knowledge of your position – e.g. direct manager is the most solid referee. The descriptions of your duties have to be quite detailed, to show exactly what you did, what technology you have worked with and for how long. Some companies do not provide official statements of the job description, in which case those could be substituted by peer references. It is very important to be descriptive about what you did on the job, because vague statements could lead to making this job either part-relevant or, worst case, not count at all.
