Default ICT Confusion

Sorry to paste an excerpt from PASA Guidelines..

Duties involving the assembling or repairing computers, at an operator level, installing and updating manufacturer-supplied software, data entry and interaction with software-based commercial systems are not normally considered to be at a professional level

A little doubt that being a Business Analyst in a company i have responsibilites to formulate the business process according to vendors ERP system, responsible to verify the exisitng business proess adhereable according to vendor ERP system.Business process review according to vendor ERP System, responsible to make interview session with users to find their requirments and validate that either vendor's ERP system fullfilling it or not , if not then responsible to get it adoption through vendor , i also participate my technical skills with ERP vendors to give an aid their developers for achieving the desired process.

What my confusion in above Italic para for bold one statement that installing and updating manufacturer-supplied software and interaction with software-based commercial systems fall me in that category if i perform the above duties being a business analyst ANZSCO 261111?

Please clear this fog as it is nerving me down and discourage to apply for assessment.

Sufiyan,

What is the status of your application? Have you applied for Reassessment to ACS?

And I am sure your experience will be considered as a professional one.

Give us an update on your status.

Cheers,

TAA

Sufiyan,
It will be considered at professional level. You experience is not only about data entry and operating the applications. But still I would advice you to present the reference letter in such a way so they will treat it professionally.

Thanks.
