Further I have been given the intial entry date (19th Sep, 2013). Can someone advise me about the taking extension in this date from DIAC.

Is this possible to delay or get changed the intial entry (visa validation).

NO.. DIAC cant change the date once your grant has been accepted. You have to visit before that date. They can only change that in the case, if that date passes and you have a very very strong reason of not coming to Australian by then. But again its on chance.

Just so you are aware, you do not need to actually migrate by that date - you can come for a visit and validate the visas, then return any time in the 5 years. Also everybody included in your visa needs to make the journey to validate the visa in that time. Good luck.

The time between your application and visa grant is about 20 months which is almost double the timeline given on Diac website. I wonder if they have put 176 visa applications on backburner and concentrating solely on 189 and 190 visas. It's been about a period of 15 months since I applied for SS176 but haven't heard anything yet. From your case, I can very well imagine that it can be stretched to as long as 20 months or even more. Moreover, many professions are getting flagged and by the time old applicants would have a grant of visa, their professions might even get removed from CSOL and they may face bigger problems getting their feet in. The whole picture seems grim.

If you check, visa application went on hold due to spouse pregnancy. OP also did medicals earlier than March 2013, as did oldest child, but not spouse and new baby.

No worries tevta, you will be given visa without any obstacle. Delay in visa issuance may depend on individuals circumstances.
