Default How picky are DIMIA?

Am just updating my employer references for recent work experience for the DIMIA and was just wondering how strict they are. I know that they set guidelines but wondered if anyone had any problems with them regarding employer references.

Should be sending off my visa application in the next two weeks

I once asked a migration agent the same question as you did. How strict are they really? He told me "Forget it if you think you can fool them. They are not your friends". All the best mate - hope evrything turns out well for you...

Hi Petal,
I will have the same problem. A migration agent recently told me that if they find that there are some discrepancies in your recent work experience they look through everything else with a fine toothcomb. Sorry about that but that is what I was told just last week! Don't risk it for a biscuit.
cheers
good luck Lace

HI Rob,
I was told recently by a migration agent that you have to match the Duties and tasks. I was told by Vetassess that the job descriptions are under a big umbrella so if you are a outreach worker over here it would still count as a support worker over there if the tasks and duties match.
I make sure I ask the right people the right questions.
I hope thsi helps
