How long will it take for the whole 457 process
Hi everyone,
The prospective employer wants to know how long will it take for the whole 457 process, includes moving etc. Basically, how long from the date of hire will I be able to settle down and start working for him.
I've read through many threads in BE but the answers vary from 10days (of visa processing) to 10 weeks. Does it depend on the occupation? If that's the case, I'm an engineer.
Can anyone share their experiences? Also, what if my employer is not registered to sponsor? How long more will that take?
Thanks for all the help!
Cheers!
