Gd luck, I really hope you get an answer soon....... my status changed from 'awaiting document's' to 'in-process' this morning.........I think we are awaiting 'with assessor' status next.
Let's hope Mr Ellard doesn't have any holidays booked soon ;-)

Great news Atiq, very pleased for you. Can I ask, what date did they take your payment?

I wish Mr Anthony Ellard do it as soon as possible for you people. He took 80 days to access my Simple Appllication even it was returened/delivered within OZ. I was unlucky to recieve that on 29th June and missed my 139 application.

But thankful it was positive.

Cheers,

J

Thanks for that. Our application was acknowledged on 1st August but there was a delay with them taking the CC payment of around 2 weeks so we might still have another month to wait :-(. Delay wasn't our fault though, so you never know!

We're applying for an STNI visa and the actual STNI sponsorship offer is only valid for a short time so I really really hope ACS aren't too much longer.

Anthony Ellard is not an assor, hes a case officer

Technically there are 2 or 3 teams of assors who deal with seperately with

RPL
Normal assessments
University graduates

Waiting times fluctuate during the year as different assesment types tend to be compressed into different times of the year.

So, do applications go to a case officer and then an assessor? And, what does each do? Just curious.

I am reading this correctly - you already have a VIC STNI nomination? Does this mean you can apply for sponsership before ASC certification? How long is the STNI valid for? Sorry about all the questions, would be helpfull to know the answers.

Kind regards
Alan

Hi Alan, yes we already have our STNI nomination from Victoria. It is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. We now need to have the ACS provide a successful skills assessment and we can apply to DIMA for a visa.

hope this helps

Thanks for a prompt response, and yes it helps. Do you mind if I ask one more? In regards to your STNI what ASCO code did you give VIC and what happens if ASC provide you with an alternative ASCO code (ie. not the same one you applied under)?
