hi folks , i just wanted to know approx how long does a visa take . we started the visa process in August 2007 , we went through the TRA but due to my trade [ refrigeration engineer ] the skills assessment changed to vetassess , so i had to start again , finally passed vetassess last May and lodged the main visa last July , we now need to do our meds [thats next month ] and police checks , we know that the application has been recieved by DIMIA and we have a file number . providing that we pass the meds etc we want to be in oz by next Feb/ March , is this realistic or just wishfull thinking , any advice or accounts would be welcome . cheers karl.
