HOW DO YOU GET DUAL NATIONALITY/PASSPORT?
Does anyone know this? If your granted Australian residency do you have the option to make it dual nationality? So that way you could reside in either country?

Yes we have dual we have a british passport and also an australian

you have to wait until you have australian citizenship before you can apply for a passport, not just residency, and yes you can have dual nationality if you are from the UK

you can apply for Australian citizenship as has been suggested which would remove this concern

there's nothing stopping you from residing in either country if you are a British national with an Australian residency visa, what may be the concern is losing your residency visa if you leave Australia for an extended length of time
