Exclamation How to change Assessment result and ASCO Code

Hello,

I have got 2.5 years of experience as .NET SPECIALIST out of total 5 yrs. 10 months experience in Software Development.

So, I was expecting .NET SPECIALIST (2231-79) in assessment. But I got Software Programmer (2231-19) in assessment result in July-09

So, in this case my occupation is not in CLS list and my Priority change from 2nd to 7th.

My queries are,

1. How to change my ASCO Code to current Occupation ASCO as .NET SPECIALIST?
or Whats the procedure to make reassessment?

2. What kinds of other documents I have to give to ACS to change my occupation ?

3. Whats the fastest way to convert my assessment result into PR as soon as possible? as My real Elder Brother already got PR in Australia. and He is willing to sponsor me.

I want to change my Priority to 2nd position instead of 7th position.

So, Need your help regarding that.

Waiting for reply,

Thanks in Advance

Regards,
Soft

Talk to the ACS, and/or hire an agent with experience in ACS processes - you may need to file an appeal or a new assessment depending on what they say.

Hi Soft,

The ACS website has all the contact details you need, but given that you would most likely now need revised references, CV and other supporting information, you should be very cautious about what you say if you need to say that the original documentation was defective in any way.

Cheers,

YES i think you may have to a new assessment. i think doing a re-assesment on your current document is a wais t of time.
please keep in mind that you need to provide a solid reference in order to get the MODL.
if i were you i would go for a experiance migration agent.

First of all, you have to find out what the problem was. Assess you again as a third person, try to find your defects and after you fix all those, appeal to ACS.

Probably a stupid question: did you ask for 2231-79 in your application? I believe ACS will put you where they think it's best for you unless you specifically ask for something else (and of course have the necessary experience). When I applied, I specifically asked to be categorized as 2231-79 Java Specialist and that's exactly what I got.
