Holiday visas
Hey guys
My parents are visiting in january for the first time and although only coming for a month this time, they would love to come and stay longer next time.
I was under the impression they could stay for no longer than 3 months, but a friend of a friends parents have just arrived and they are staying for 11 months and have done this before.
Is this right that you can get a 1 year holiday visa?

You can get a tourist visa for 3, 6 or 12 months - subclass 676 - Here is a link to the relevant page from the DIAC website.
