HND in computing(2yrs) + 4yrs related work experience - Is it enough???

HND in computing(2yrs) + 4yrs related work experience - Is it enough???
Hi all you clued up people out there,
My husband completed a 2yr HND(full-time) in computing 4yrs ago and has been working in the industry ever since. Now does that count as the 6yrs of work experience required for skills assessment, or does it have to be 6yrs work experience POST graduate??
I have heard that you can have a skills assessment without any formal qualification, so surely that must count for something!
Anyway I've e-mailed an agent and am waiting for a reply but if anyone knows
what's what on this matter please, please enlighten me!!

My understanding is the study is not classed as work experience, but work experience pre-qualification can be included.
So therefore your husband will have to have worked within IT for 2 years before starting his studies along with the 4 years after his studies to make the 6 years (unless he worked in paid IT employment full time during his studies).
