Help!!! Returning back to Australia on visa 143
Can anyone help, my mum has activated her visa (143) lived in Australia for a year. Returned back to live the UK but was wondering, how long would be remaining on her visa to return back to Australia.

When was it granted? Did she get a visa label?

Look at the visa label or grant letter.

You get five years from visa grant during which you can come and go as you please. However it is currently advisable to settle in Oz after three years in order to avoid difficulties obtaining a Resident Return Visa. You need this if you want to leave Oz and reenter after the five years if you have not become a citizen. But these rules may change.
