Where is best to apply for a work/live visa for OZ?

I tried Skillselect (Gas or Petroleum Operator - 399212) but it says

The client is unable to complete an EOI for the selected visa types in SkillSelect.

This incomplete EOI will remain in SkillSelect for 2 years. During this time, personal details can be updated at any stage.

Did you have a read through what you need to do to submit an EOI?

You need to get your skills assessed with TRA (http://www.immi.gov.au/asri/occupati...m-operator.htm). You may also need to take IELTS depending on where you are from.

Also, as your occupation is on the CSOL and not SOL you will need either employer or state sponsorship, so would not be eligible for a 189 visa and need to look at the others. Have a look here - http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/booklets/1119.pdf for more info

As pointed out by Sparkles above there are a range of criteria that need to be met and evidence that needs to be collected before you can submit an Expression of Interest and join the pool of would-be migrants waiting an invitation.

One of the requirements is that you obtain a points score of 60+ in relation to your personal characteristics, qualifications and work experience.
