Default Help! Qualification not related to profession.

Dear All,

Greetings.

It is our desire to migrate to New Zealand, however, there are two basic
questions, to which I am unable to get a response to, and, which is
crucial in helping me make a decision. I hope somebody can help me with
this.

I have a Bachelor of Arts (poor GPA), but it is indeed a 3 Year
Full-Time bachelors degree for which the list shows can be awarded 10
points.

My work experience is in Information Technology, i.e. I am a Networking
& Communications Technology guy and all my professional experience is in
the same. About 4 years. The point here is that there is no relation
between my work experience and my qualifications.

How many points can I score for my qualification & work experience.

The second issue is with regard to my work experience. Two of the
companies that I worked for have ceased operations and in another
company, almost everybody has moved on. Therefore, references are an issue.

I have however been in my current company for 2 years and 8 months.

Some guidance on the above would be appreciated, especially welcome
would be words of wisdom from the consultants or lawyers on this forum.

Thanks very much.

With best regards,
Ben
