HELP needed for U.S. applicant!

Can anyone tell me how long it takes after the initial filing of the form 47-SP for
everything to go through and the visa to be granted in America?I've looked on the
message board but everyone is going from the U.K. that i've seen. I live in
Washington so I'd be going through the Los Angeles office. Thanks for helping me!

Brenda, if you can - go thru the DC office. It is quicker. For PR it should take 24
months from LA and 18 thru DC.
