Hello All ,

I am filling the form regarding change of circumstances form 929 . The question where they ask 18. Name as it appears on Passport . Now on in our passports Surname name is written first & then Given name is written . So here also I should write my surname first then given name after it . A tiny question but needed to be accurate . Thank you.

They are asking for the NAME AS IT APPEARS ON THE PASSPORT - so that is what you write.
Question 2 allows you to state which is the family name and which is the given name.

Thank you Pollyana but the issue is ,that in my passport its written like

Passport Number : -----

Surname : Y

Given Name : X

DOB : xx/xx/xx

So in my country routine is our first name followed by surname . So what should I write XY or YX ;p..!!!! , hope this clears my question

Write what is in your passport! They are not trying to trick you.

Hello all again,

Dear all , i am again having an issue filling my form 929 as my residential address has been changed. In Question 4 they are asking "Application receipt number issued to the applicant by the department ". Now where exactly can i find this as i couldnt find it anywhere i-e Emails from DIAC , online application status etc. thank you all .

Hi Ahmaddd2 - we also had to fill out form 929 when our passports were stolen so I had a quick look. We provided the TRN in q4 - it asks for either client number, file number or application receipt number - you ony have to provide one of them

I'm confused as you have already completed form 929 previously so you must have had the info before. Did you keep a copy of that form?
