HELP! Desperate mum
Can anybody give me any advice.
I have 6 children, we brought 3 young ones with us, then my daughter came on student visa, now has PR.
Then my 23 yr old son came as international student on 2 yr course, he will go for PR when he finishes his course.
Mt dilema is, my oldest who is 26 and lives in Manchester and is desperate to be here with us, I thought he would qualify for remaining but because his biological father is still there, he does not qualify, even though my husband has brought him up, he has had no contact from his real dad for 15 years.
But he cant come on that, his line of work is working with the homeless, antisocial abuse, and drug and alcohol abuse, but has no actual qualifications . just experience. What can i do, im at my wits end, and im so worried about him.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: HELP! Desperate mum
The problem is i am already paying 16,000 a year, for the one that is at Uni now.
I am working loads of hours to do this and have a young family, im so tired and was just looking forward to him finishing, so if i have to, it would have to be next year, I cant work any more hours than i am doing, which is between 40-50 a week.
He just wants to be here now.
Maybe he will have to come on 12 month work visa first, and take it from there.
Thanks, Denise

He could come out on a working holiday visa for a year. He could then save up, and contribute to the student visa afterwards.
Or he could find an apprenticeship or an employer to sponsor him whilst he is out there.

Over the Moon, Kevin came over for 2 weeks, and he has found a sponsor.
So he will be here in about 3 months.
So my family will be complete
Thanks for your replies and your help.

No , we have 5 beds plus a study, my other son and daughter live in Perth, so only have 3 here at the moment, lots of room.
He will want his own place though.
Thanks

He works with the homeless, with alcohol and drug problems.
He is being sponsored by an organisation called ASWA.
