Default help advice - what ASCO code?

Hi there,
my husband i and our three children are wanting to emigrate to OZ. I would like advice on whether we would qualify, as i am usnure as to what my husbands jobs comes under.

He works as a UPVC window fitter and has done for the last 19 years. I work or the NHS as an admin assistant/appointment officer. We have 3 children aged 15, 11 and 9. I cannot find my husbands trade any where on any list and im unsure s to what it would be equivalent to.

any advice would be very much apprecitiated

Depspet1974,
Perhaps its better consulting with some migration agents to do some preliminary assessments of your work experiences and qualifications. Qualified agents are more experienced in these matters.
To find the nearest agent try www.themara.com.au

Im not sure for your hubby but have a look at the http://www.abs.gov.au/AUSSTATS/[email protected]?opendocument
for what is described as a program / project administrator. I'm the main applicant and ive applied under 'business prof (nec)' to claim 50 points for my degree and my work exp as proj/prog admin. I'm a receptionist/waiting list manager and it fit perfect. Best think to do is go through the SOL find the titles that fit your hubby's expereince the closest (no matter how different sounding) and research the website ive given you above.
This is where mig agents earn their cash...undertanding the intracacies of the SOL and being able to interpret it positively for you. It's worth considering BUT i didn't get one.
