We applied on the 2nd March (so from the March thread), medicals received at LCU 25th June and visa granted 22nd October. It seemed like we have waited forever as we had our medicals in May but had to wait for letters from specialist before they could be sent of so Julie's medicals would have been sent to MOC for review which would have taken a little longer.
Hope this helps.

Yes considering Julie has medical issues it hasn't taken that long really.

Yes the wait will definetly be worth it.
Although after reading about what happened to poor Toby is making me a wreck. I was always worried about how my dog would travel to oz and if he would be alright in quarantine now I have to stress about if he makes it to the cargo terminal at perth airport from the plane due to the incompetence of Australian airExpress handlers

We are hopefully heading out in April 08, just getting all the quotes together for shipping the house contents and taking my dog bailey.
Where are you heading to and when?

We are off to Perth at the end of November flying from Manchester. My list of things to do is getting longer and time shorter!

I thought getting the documents together for the visa was stressful - then we played the waiting game - how stressful was that! Now I'm panicking about shippers and flights - dread to think what I will be like when we get over there. Need a strong drink tonight to calm my nerves.
