Default Has anyone created a checklist

Hi. I have just started to get the ball rolling for a move down under. There seems to be so many things to consider. I was wondering if anyone has created their own checklist or spreadsheet? Possibly someone that has completed or is near completing the process of migrating.

I'm looking at visa applications, medicals etc and then a consideration list like areas in OZ, schools, amenities etc.

So if there is anyone out there that has been very methodical in the thought process and is very organised that may have created such a thing I would be so grateful if I could have a blank copy.

Its a mind boggling process as it is so I was just trying to cut down on some time whilst hopefully covering everything that needs consideration.

Thanks. See ya all down under!

Kaitlin
there is a 'to do list' sticky in the main oz bit of this forum.

I have lists, lots of them, but no one master list that would be any use i'm afraid.

One thing you could do is while you are applying to have your skills assessed is have a look at the 175 visa checklist and start getting everything ready for the application. Heres the link to it:

If you can get hold of a January copy of Australia & New Zealand Magazine, there's a pretty good checklist in there & it counts down all the different tasks necessary as the leaving date gets closer. It's pretty good

A big thank you for all the replies. The thread for a checklist and getting hold of a copy of the magazine will be a good starting point, every little bit helps.

Thanks to Kaitlin for the offer of the spreadsheet. I'll leave it just now as I can appreciate you have your hands full with the children and a migration on the go and my Finnish is not up the scratch!

Thanks again and I'm glad I found this site. keep up the good work
