We had a flying visit back in April but only because we were so fed up with waiting for our visas. We've now lived here in Perth for the past 7 weeks.

Me Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, and also changed planes at Brisbane (so I have gone from
domestic to international terminal in Brisbane if that counts!) Now in NZ

Spent a year driving all the way round in a rather fetching camper van!!!

Started from Melbourne went north , left at Cairns down to Ayers Rock, back up to Darwin and on round anti clockwise, didn't have a flat tyre till the nullabor plain!!!

We've been to visit friends in Perth 3 times, last time we went (Oct
2000) stayed for a month to see what jobs/houses etc were actually like. Came back,
did TRA assessment and submitted PR May 2001. Will be going to Perth
....eventually !!!

Phew!! I'm with Gareth W,Nigel & Sally, & Neil thought we were the only ones,but the wifes mum was born on Adelaide Street ,Heywood, Lancs thought that was a good enough omen for us.
So thats a hands down for us

Me, Hubby and son all went to Adelaide last year. Plan to settle there - also got family and the most wonderful friends there (hi Mick incase you see this!!).
