Hi, I am a qualified NVQ Level 2 hairdresser with just over 6 years qualified experience. I am not sure what to do as I know hairdressing has been taken off of the skilled migration list but I really want to start a new life in Australia. I was looking at sponsorship but I think that's only for certain areas? Any advice on how I could start my new life (if at all) would be very much appreciated.

Hi you need to have your skills assessed then right your english test unless you have a british passport, then you can apply for state sponsorship so far it is WA good luck

Tony & Guy seem to be able to bring hairdressers in, obviously you have to work for them in UK, just a thought that might help some one else if it's not possible for you.
