Hi Raka,

Yes of course you can qualify - see http://www.workplace.gov.au/NR/rdonl...ia4Oct2006.pdf - it's all a question of proof.

Cheers,

Raka
What do you need to know?
Im a hairdresser and did my TRA last year. I wrote down EVERYTHING I do from taking the clients coat to every service I provide, I broke it down in 4 sections
Colour technical
Structure technical (perming and chemically straightening)
Cutting
Blowdrying, styling and hair up.
I wrote down every tool I use and every chemical and I had my references list every tool and chemical also.
It took about 1 month to write but was almost a thesis on hairdressing once I had finished, I have been in the trade for 18 years so there was a lot to write!!!
Good luck and please let me know how you get on or if you need any more info

the big burp is on a distinguished road
Default Re: Hairdresser need help for TRA

hey guys,
is it really true that someone needs 4 yrs in the job to qualify, my hubby is tunisian and is doing a haridressing course in tunisia...i mean 900 hrs experience is doable but 4 yrs in the job is a long time.
just trying to avoid family sponsorship since its too difficult.
