Guidance required for RRV
Hi,
I have Australian PR which is going to expire in November this year. I am currently doing a job in Dubai (UAE). I still want to continue my job till march next year. I need some guidance for RRV 155 for one year. I have spent only 5 days in Australia after I got PR. Anyone who has a similar case who applied for RRV while offshore, please guide me when and how I can apply for RRV. What are the chances and how to make my case strong to get RRV while off shore please. Thank you

You can apply as soon as you like, but to get the RrV you will need to supply details of all your ties to Australia. If you have only spent 5 days there in five years you may struggle. Do you have a bank account? any family here? any property? Working for an Australian company?

A job offer in Australia would be your best chance. Whether a potential employer is going to wait that long seems unlikely however. You may need to curtail your time in the UAE.

I have a bank account there. My brother is also there. I am working in a company in UAE which also operates in Australia and Melbourne. Can I somehow use my current company as my link to Australia and apply for RRV on those basis. Any kind suggestion please.

is your brother a citizen? Will your job continue in Australia? Without those two, highly unlikely you will get more than 3 mths RRV at most.
