Granted . . . . Thank you!
Hi Guys
Long time no speak..
My Partner 309 was granted today so I would like to say a big thank you for all your help, especially Polly and Bermuda.. And the doubters? Well you know what to do..
Our gorgeous baby daughter was born 2 weeks ago, she is doing so good, and Mum was just brilliant...
I thought child birth was just horrific!
Been in Sunny SE QLD for 4 weeks now and had 4 days of sunshine! Ahh I feel so at home with all the rain

Something doesn't make sense here ... you need to be offshore for the 309 visa to be granted. Are you saying that you were in Australia when it was granted?
Or have you just received a letter saying they are ready to grant your visa once you are offshore.

I am currently on a Visitor Visa and have been for around 4 weeks, quite right, should have mentioned that
And yes, technically it hasnt been granted yet, but as good as
I feel a week in NZ coming on ..

i am also on a visitors visa awaiting my spouse visa,
can you let me know who you use to fly to NZ please as i am sure it will be the cheapest route
with a new baby in the family x

It's not "as good as" ... you're still a tourist and bound by tourist restrictions and any changes in your circumstances could still mean you become ineligible for the visa.
Get to New Zealand immediately and get the visa stamped and return to Australia, only then can you contemplate next steps.
