Got it! Via Registered Post
Hi everyone,
I've been mostly a silent observer here and would like to thank everyone who
has contributed to this wonderful newsgroup. Thank you for all the kindness
and help, so many of you have shown here. Special thanks to regulars like
Alan, George, Jeremy and Peter - noticed it's in alphabetical order ;-)
Without you guys, many like me would have found the entire application
process even more unbearable.
I got my grant letter when I got home today. It was sent (I'm surprised) via
Registered Post. Funnily, I wasn't even excited when I opened the letter.
Guess I lost it after jumping up and down for an hour when I received my
medical and police checks requests After that, I knew it was a matter of
time, but didn't expect to get it only 18 days after submitting my police
checks and 19 days after my medicals.
For those who are interested, here's my timeline:
http://www.austimeline.com/austime/a...App.jsp?id=976
For those who are in the queue, hang it there and good luck!
Once again, thank you :-)
Cheers
Eileen

Congratulations Eileen. I envy you. Looking at your timeline, wished I had the foresight to apply earlier.
Cheers!

Hi Chink,
I felt the same way too when I was looking at other people's timeline. The
wait was so unbearable, especially when most of us don't hear from DIMIA for
nearly a year.
Your day will come! :-)
Cheers
