Got IT
I got immigration at last.
I applied under Victoria STNI program as a J2EE, E-Commerce,
E-Business, B2B and security specialist.
The timeline is as follows:
March 2002: Applied for ACS
May 2002: Rejected by ACS
June 2002: Appealed for ACS
May 2003: ACS granted
August 2003: Applied for Victoria STNI nomination.
August 2003: granted STNI nomination in 3 days.
October 2003: Applied for immigration under Skilled migration program
based on victoria STNI nomination.
November 2003: request IELTS, Medical and Plice clearance.
December 2003: submitted Medical and Police Clearance.
17 February 2003: submitted IELTS results score was 5.5, 6.0,6.5,7.0
19 March 2003: Granted Letter of grant of visa.
Will get visa evidenced on my passport in april from islamabad
australian high commission.
Need to enter before October 2004.
Thanks to everone on the group, althought the information on the group
sometimes only worried a lot but most of the times information on this
group is very helpful to avoid critical future problems.
I will be going to melbourne most probably after 3/4 months in
melbourne.

Re: Got IT
What a co-incidence.
Applied to ACS in March 2002 got rejected!!. Everything was perfect in my application.
Filed appeal , and in the meantime applied again .
Cleared the ACS stage with No trouble at all.
Contacted Sarah G Paul via email and asked
why did they reject me when I applied for the first time.
It resulted in
A)Waste of precious time
B)Money (ACS ,courier )
C)Un-necessary tension
D)Points also increased to 115 in May 2002. I waited more than 6 months after getting my result to reach 115.
Who is responsible I asked, could you provide any reason why I was rejected?. No answer man.
I think there is/was some problem with the assessment officer whose name starts with "KKK".I don’t want to comment
Anyway, all is well that ends well.
Best of luck to you Khurram
