Your comment is completely untrue PutaNana

Alan has helped me with several questions and I have not paid a penny as also has Jeremy and George. Make sure of your comments before maligning someone on a public forum

answer one single query without charging you, where George Lombard
will provide you and answer alot of queries for free. regards.

Alan has answered many questions for me, either via email or on the phone, for which he has never charged.

Re: Gomatilda.com - experiences?

I'm sure this is a translation issue, but I never "tell" anyone to pay me.

Indeed, I'm not sure that I have to defend my policy on these things, but I would simply say that there are occasions where I take a view that the time involved in answering questions merits a fee. If my migration agent colleagues feel comfortable giving more of their time for free than me then that's their call, but if you saw the number of emails in my inbox every day I'm sure you'd understand why I sometimes have to say that I am obliged to charge a fee.

Best regards.

Sorry but I must disagree with you on this one.
We came on this forum last year looking for advice.
Many agents here said that there was no way that we would get a visa because of our age.
Alan Collett told us differently. Business visa 457ie, he sugested.
He gave us all the advice that we needed to submit our own application as the process is a lot easier than other visas.
We got our visa in May. We have some family who are also going to Oz under a retirement visa and because of the advice we recieved free of charge we had no hesitation in recommending Alan Collett.
They received their visas last month and were very happy with the service from Go Matilda.
I would recommend them to anyone.

Re: Gomatilda.com - experiences?

GoMatilda have an excellent website (Best one out of all of the agents sites I have found) they have a forum on there, where people ask many questions and they are quickly answered by Alan.

Unfortunately I am not using them myself (They had a big queue at the migration fair so we went with someone else), but I have asked a few questions on their site, ranging from financial to visa information and they have been answered quickly and in a friendly manner.

From what I have seen and from other people comments I would recommend them to anyone.
(I wouldn't recommend the agent I am using though!)

SO SLOW MATILDA.

Skill assesment is via a third party ie not slow matilda (the third party has its lead time too!) and although they have a UK office you will have to mail everything to Melbourne (more time delayed) and no you cant courrier as there is no advantage as it will on stay in the pile until they are ready. The pre skill is a non starter as the forms do not relate to the actual forms that you may need and you can not fill them in electronicaly it must be done manualy, so you cant email them they do not accept them.

I have already been told to keep quite on this forum regarding agents. Opps? lots of toes to tread on beware!

But I do feel that you should not waste your money on agents with web sites that apear to be helpful... they are Very Very busy and obviously will not turn away new clients but will keep you stalled with many tacticts.

I agree with other members ....Amber Collins or perhaps Global Visas, you can email them with forms or questions they are also based in the UK if thats waht you req.

So good luck in your search and dont get stung by the regulars do a search and then search again you will be very supprised at what you will find, including the prices.

As a footnote there are a dam lot of people using this forum that have DIYed ther applications and have stickers to prove it so pick there brains they are most helpful. :D
H. U R the best!

Just saw this! Now i've just done the I Q test i feel my very large head might just explode! Thanks N, very touched!!!!!! :)
But if you didn't mean me, i now feel extremely stupid !!!!
