Gomatilda.com - experiences?

Hi,

My wife and I are looking at skilled migration to Australia, and
have contacted Gomatilda who have sent us some very useful information
and a selection of consultancy services that they can provide. Have
any of you used their service, and if so, what are your experiences?
I'd be especially keen to know about their pre-application checks for
ACS approval as I'm an IT professional. I'm not against using an
agent - but I don't want to throw money at this willy-nilly.

Thanks very much

Free assessment

Someone - mike24me ??? suggested using www.amblercollins.com to get your assessment done for free. Try them first before you pick a agent.

Hello

yes, it was me who reccomended Ambler Collins. They do a free assessment of your skills, and the price for them helping you with your skills assessment is very reasonable. (I think it was £300+vat but the price may have changec)

cheers

Hello

in answer to your original question, I have not dealt with Go Matilda myself but have spoken to many people who have, and they have only had nice things to say about them.

Hi

George Lombard is great - although based in Oz, he responds quickly and gave me a lot of advice (at no cost). I spent a long time researching agents, and even went to the Emigration show in Surrey to meet a lot of them. There are a good few that offer a free initial assessment, so do ring around before making any decisions. We did it on our own in the end - but George checked my skills assessment before we sent it off just to make sure it was ok.

Good Luck
T :-)

Have had lots to do with Alan Collet at Go matilda and he is very helpful and patient and always gives good clear advice. We shall also be using him as an accountant when we eventually get into oz.

Gomatilda.com - experiences

Hiya

We are currently using Gomatilda, my husband is also in IT so had to go through the ACS. Glenn Newton is excellent at his part in the skills assessment. He is very thorough and we were told he has 100% record of sucess with his cases he sends to the ACS. The rest of the team are great too. We wouldn't have been able to get this far without thier unlimited patience and time !! We are now at the stage of sitting and waiting as our visa application went in 2 weeks ago.
I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I know it's not cheap but we see it as an investment in our future.

Re: Gomatilda.com - experiences?

Allan Collett specialises in assessing IT qualifications, especially RPL. I
would suggest that they are one of the best around for IT professionals.
The ACS RPL process is time consuming and requires your work set out in a
particular way. You will save days of time if you are given the right
advice at the start.

Allan evens gives training in IT assessment to other migration agents in a
training program recogised by the Migration Agents Registration Authority.

Regards

Highly recommend GoMatilda.

I came through on ACS - RPL and agree totally with other comments re Glenn.

Alan is a very professional person and from my experiences he always has time to answer any questions, regardless of how trivial they may seem.

haven't direct experience re IT, but we are using Go Matilda & would thoroughly recommend them!
