Re: Getting the Visa Stamp
If you have applied for an offshore visa, you can't be granted it in
Australia. The way it usually works is that Adelaide tell you they
are ready to grant the visa (do they have a reliable contact address?)
and you need to go to somewhere like Auckland for a week or so to be
granted your visa.
Search on this forum under 'Auckland' and see what comes up.

Getting the Visa Stamp
Can anyone tell me how the visa grant works please.
Many of you are talking of sending your passports away to get the visa stamp. We are likely to be in Oz already when (fingers crossed) it gets granted, so in that case I believe we have to be "offshore" - i.e. leave the country and come back in?
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks!
And congrats to those who have been successful already!
